The Go2 Portishead Marina was an Ibis until recently. The car park still has the Ibis signage. Getting to the car park was confusing. The Go2 Portishead Marina was an Ibis until recently. The car park still has the Ibis signage. Getting to the car park was confusing. Below the hotel is a Lidle superstore and you park at the Lidle car park. Once you enter the hotel, you give your car registration number. Check in was quick and easy. The room was that of a budget hotel. A double bed, a small television. There was a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities. It was a hot day so I was glad that the window opened a little. The wifi was fast enough but you had to keep connecting. The bathroom was compact and functional. Overall, this was a decent budget hotel. The big plus was the location. Easy to get to Bristol and being able to walk to Portishead marina.

“Budget basic but clean and comfortable”

We spent 2 nights here in April. It is what you pay for. It's basic. The rooms are small and there aren't any sockets close to the bed which wasn't ideal. We spent 2 nights here in April. It is what you pay for. It's basic. The rooms are small and there aren't any sockets close to the bed which wasn't ideal. The area to store clothes is tiny and basically you just have hanging space. Nowhere to put any folded clothes. Ok now let's be honest. We knew what we were going to get because it was a budget hotel so I'm not going to expect luxury. Our view was of the carpark but it wasn't what we paid for. We paid for somewhere to base ourselves when visiting our friends. The bed was super comfy, the accommodation was really clean and well maintained. The bathroom, toilet, sink and shower all great. Shower was lovely and powerful. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. For the price it was well worth it. I'd just be better prepared as I'd know what to expect. We took a mini fridge with us for our drinks and snacks so if you are staying more than a night I'd recommend you do the same.

“Hot hot hot”

Room basic and clean, but with an odd odour. I didn't stay the night as the room was so hot, my dogs (and I) were suffering. Not a hotel to stay in during a heatwave
