“Relaxing… just perfect”

I had the pleasure of spending the day here and it was absolutely wonderful. The spa is beautifully relaxing — I really enjoyed the hydrotherapy pool and had a lovely swim as well. I had the pleasure of spending the day here and it was absolutely wonderful. The spa is beautifully relaxing — I really enjoyed the hydrotherapy pool and had a lovely swim as well. Lunch was a highlight too, with a delicious Thai meal that perfectly complemented the experience. I then had a 30-minute anti-stress massage, which was fantastic. Rae, my masseuse, was amazing — incredibly skilled and made me feel completely at ease. All of the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout the day, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend this spa and will definitely be returning!

“Lovely hotel but ….”

Lovely hotel but slightly outdated. When we checked in we double checked we had breakfast abreakfast included but the receptionist said it wasn’t! We checked our reservation and it clearly stated it was! We had an issue with our room with some little moths. We were told they would spray the carpet … lisää

Lovely hotel but slightly outdated. When we checked in we double checked we had breakfast abreakfast included but the receptionist said it wasn’t! We checked our reservation and it clearly stated it was! We had an issue with our room with some little moths. We were told they would spray the carpet the next day! I’m not sure if that was done or not as we still had a few the next day but not as many. Room was very hot with no air conditioning and bed very firm. We used the pool area but not the hydrotherapy pool. As a hotel guest I didn’t think I should pay an extra £40 each. We have stayed here before and also don

“Not as good as it used to be”

We had been here before a few years ago and really liked it. This time, standards seem to have slipped. Our Oakwood Garden room was a bit shabby, with a connecting door which had cuts and scuffs and let in the noise from the people next door. We had been here before a few years ago and really liked it. This time, standards seem to have slipped. Our Oakwood Garden room was a bit shabby, with a connecting door which had cuts and scuffs and let in the noise from the people next door. The TV was set too low on the wall to watch comfortably and was partway across the connecting door, which made it look odd. The bathroom was very small. We did not eat in the Cambium restaurant, except for breakfast. This was okay but the service was not always good. The bar area lets the place down, it is small, very draughty wherever you sit, and looks more like an ante room. The sandwiches we had on our first evening in the bar were not very good (they got the bread wrong for one thing). We ate at Le Blaireau and had a nice meal. The decor of this restaurant is a little odd, with lots of white and green tiling. I don’t recall ever seeing this style of decor in any bistro in France… On the plus side, the staff were mostly very pleasant and helpful, it’s a good location on the outskirts of Brockenhurst and the bed was comfortable.
