“Pretty room but more care needed”

My room was lovely to look at and the bed and towels were nice. There were a few tweaks I’d make - the toilet had not been flushed. There was no milk in the fridge although I was told there was. And there was no waste paper basket in the room. After I had checked in I was told that it got noisy out… lisää

My room was lovely to look at and the bed and towels were nice. There were a few tweaks I’d make - the toilet had not been flushed. There was no milk in the fridge although I was told there was. And there was no waste paper basket in the room. After I had checked in I was told that it got noisy outside and would quieten down at midnight. It was a Friday night and it was noisy as the bar up the road played loud music. However I did sleep very well. Had a bit of trouble getting out of the building as the door was locked but another guest helped me.

“Old hotel”

Small hotel located upstairs from the el sold tapas restaurant. I had a standard double, the pilgrims room whilst fine for one would be too small for 2. However the room had a real bed, not a divan so storage space under the bed. Room contained a small cupboard with a safe. Also in room was a haird… lisää

Small hotel located upstairs from the el sold tapas restaurant. I had a standard double, the pilgrims room whilst fine for one would be too small for 2. However the room had a real bed, not a divan so storage space under the bed. Room contained a small cupboard with a safe. Also in room was a hairdryer and minibar. This was useful to keep food in. Whilst the hotel does not serve breakfast formally, instead there are packets of cereal and bowls with fresh milk. Bathroom is a shower room, plenty of hot water. Towels too small. Stayed a Saturday night and it was noisy but hotel is in the middle of the centre, surrounding area has lots of bars and restaurants. Location around the corner from cathedral, walking distance to tourist attractions.

“Quirky hotel in great location”

Positives: gorgeous room ( stayed in the sun room) very clean, and great location in centre of the town, it’s a old building, so there are beams, winding narrow corridors / stairs etc, which for us added to the charm. complimentary continental breakfast with the tea/ coffee, super friendly staff, … lisää

Positives: gorgeous room ( stayed in the sun room) very clean, and great location in centre of the town, it’s a old building, so there are beams, winding narrow corridors / stairs etc, which for us added to the charm. complimentary continental breakfast with the tea/ coffee, super friendly staff, and what seems to be a very popular Spanish restaurant downstairs that the hotel also run. Negatives: shower did not work, bed linen was utterly horrible, and did not match the quality of the room - nylon polyester duvet cover, urgh! Yes, there was some outside noise in the late evening because of the location, but was quiet after 23:00 and did not bother us, but might be a negative for some people

Ok experience for a couple of nights. Bedding was quite worn—cheap polyester pillows and duvet that were a bit ick. We expected noise in city centre so that was ok for us. Shower doesn’t work at all. And water runs cold before you can fill the large bathtub. So we ended using a plastic bottle! The … lisää

Ok experience for a couple of nights. Bedding was quite worn—cheap polyester pillows and duvet that were a bit ick. We expected noise in city centre so that was ok for us. Shower doesn’t work at all. And water runs cold before you can fill the large bathtub. So we ended using a plastic bottle! The guy on arrival showed us which knob to turn, but it actually doesn’t work. The thread is probably worn and needs replacing as water doesn’t divert. Also bathtub and sink need the drains clearing as very slow running. Just a bit tired but I guess we should have paid more.
