We booked direct with the "Spring B&B Offer" and in order of experience: 1) Ample secure parking - free if you book direct! 2) A really nice warm welcome from the lovely reception team and a fast and efficient check-in. 3) Upgraded to a lovely room with air-conditioning which, given the weather, we used. 4) Great in-room facilities including ample tea & coffee choices and a fridge with bottled water and fresh bottled milk - yay! 5) Friendly bar staff, and drinks prices lower than we expected. 6) Very comfortable beds and great shower. 7) A lovely welcome to breakfast and great service from a lady who was cheerful and friendly, and remained so throughout - even when busy. 8) Very nice breakfast area and layout with great a breakfast choice and quality ingredients used. Plus an extra knife in the cutlery setting for butter etc........it's those little things! 9) High standard of cleanliness everywhere. 10) Good value for money 11) Easy walk to cricket ground and town centre. There was a really nice and relaxed feeling throughout our stay and much of that has to be attributed to the great hotel team of people. Not just those face-to-face but those who work "behind the scenes" to maintain a high standard throughout. We would definitely stay again.

I booked an afternoon tea here for a few family member's, we have been here multiple times before and always really enjoyed our experience here. The staff are lovely and very attentive. The food is delicious, really good value for money and a great selection for the kids afternoon tea too. Beautifully decorated and a really relaxing environment, highly recommended!

“Lovely stay and even better breakfast”

I stayed here for 2 nights. Great service when checking in. Car parking £9 a night as I did not book direct with the hotel which isn’t an issue. I was in room 60 which was on the second floor. There is only a lift that gets you to first floor then you need to go up some stairs. I was in a single … lisää

I stayed here for 2 nights. Great service when checking in. Car parking £9 a night as I did not book direct with the hotel which isn’t an issue. I was in room 60 which was on the second floor. There is only a lift that gets you to first floor then you need to go up some stairs. I was in a single room - bed was extremely comfortable. Tea/coffee making facilities and if needed more milk just needed to ask at reception. Bathroom was lovely and toiletries were really nice. Breakfast good choice that included pastries, cereals, continental and full English. I ate in the bar area on both nights chicken burger was really nice and so was the cheese and tomato sandwich with side of chips. Great value for money. Would stay here again
