“Good base for exploring Austin Country”

My friend and i enjoyed our stay. We explored Jane Austin Country and this was a perfect base for it. The hotel, facilities and rooms were clean, any requests were accommodated and staff were friendly and helpful when we needed to ask about things.

It was a well-organised and enjoyable gathering, with a great atmosphere and a strong sense of community. However, the drinks offering did not meet expectations. I ordered a hot chocolate, which was average at best, and there were no extras available, such as marshmallows or cream. This gave the impression of limited stock or a lack of attention to detail, which was disappointing given the scale of the event. While the venue worked well for hosting the session itself, the refreshments fell short of the standard one would expect. Overall, a good event in terms of people and atmosphere, but the drinks side requires improvement.
