A great experience. At short notice we were able to book in. Theresa who managed the booking could not have been more informative and helpful. She managed to sort all our needs and rang back to explain what she had arranged. Our room was lovely . It was comfortable and quiet. Every member of staff we came into contact with- reception, bar, cleaning were polite ,friendly and helpful. All food and drinks were excellent. We wouldn’t hesitate to return on our next visit to the area. Thank you.

“Very happy with the venue, the staff, and highly recommended!”

We have stayed here a few times to attend family events and we are always delighted! Lovely staff, lovely spotless room, crisp cotton sheets and comfortable bed and pillows. They have everything in the room that you need including refreshments and snacks and the breakfasts are amazing! So good tha… lisää

We have stayed here a few times to attend family events and we are always delighted! Lovely staff, lovely spotless room, crisp cotton sheets and comfortable bed and pillows. They have everything in the room that you need including refreshments and snacks and the breakfasts are amazing! So good that we invited family to join us the next day. The waiting staff couldn’t be more helpful and a great chef.

“Comfy and quiet place to stay”

We traveled from Dublin for a family funeral and emailed ahead to request if possible an earlier time to check in, that was arranged for us which were delighted about. The lady at reception Theresa couldn’t have been more helpful and pleasant to us. She helped arrange taxi to take us to the ceremon… lisää

We traveled from Dublin for a family funeral and emailed ahead to request if possible an earlier time to check in, that was arranged for us which were delighted about. The lady at reception Theresa couldn’t have been more helpful and pleasant to us. She helped arrange taxi to take us to the ceremony and showed us up to our room and made sure we had everything we needed. The room (206) was lovely and big and spacious. With tea and coffee making facilities and also a small selection of snacks on the table at reasonable prices if you wanted them. Our bed was very comfortable. We had breakfast the next morning with great choices we went for the traditional English breakfast which was delicious and served to our table. There is a very large beer garden to the back of the restaurant and bar, with plenty of seats and tables, a pleasant addition as the sun shone down to sit outside for a drink before we left.

“Nice hotel - cleaners started hoovering early”

The hotel is lovely and clean. Had to wait a while for someone to come to reception and check me in. Only thing that was slightly annoying is that check out is 11am however there were hoovers going off at 10ish which woke me up and made me feel rushed. Surely cleaning shouldn’t start until after 11… lisää
