“Wonderful”
Such a wonderful and relaxing stay. The location was great for walkers and dogs especially. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped and my dog loved the treats waiting for her. The staff were friendly and professional.

“I always prefer staying in pubs when I can and this is a really good one!”
Spent a great couple of nights. The room was very clean and comfortable. The atmosphere in the bar area was excellent, as was the food (would specially mention the Trout en croute if it's on the menu. Good breakfast too? Only possible negative were a few noisy dogs. I would definitely stay again.

“Friendly staff tasty food”
We had a really tasty friendly lunch after our walk We stopped with our dog who sometimes can bit a bit excitable as he is young. They were really understanding and kind enough to seat us in the conservatory which was empty so he wouldn’t disturb anyone. It was warm and cosy the service was great … lisää

“Cosy, comfy and peaceful”
Excellent location, so peaceful and calm. Lovely room with a comfy bed and good shower! The pub was cosy and food fantastic! Great value for money

“A well needed quick break.”
The guys behind the jump were excellent, humour in the right places.and they were a staff nember down. Dinner and breakfast was good. Our only complaint would be cobwebs ++ above the bed, which you wouldn't see unless you were laying down after making it. A great brief stay.
