“Exceptionally considerate and accommodating staff.”

Exceptionally considerate and accommodating staff. I was quite unwell on my visit but they looked after my things and provided a room to freshen up after a hospital visit. I will look to stay again in the future.

I chose this hotel because of the location: opposite Exeter central train station, perfect. The hotel was very clean & comfortable. The staff were excellent: professional, friendly and very helpful. I chose this hotel because of the location: opposite Exeter central train station, perfect. The hotel was very clean & comfortable. The staff were excellent: professional, friendly and very helpful. Special thanks to Veronica, Nathan (Ethen?) And Annaise. The ONE thing that was a bit of a nuisance was that the lift wasnt working: senior management should have this problem solved as HIGH priority.

“Pleasant stay”

I visited this hotel for one night as was going to the theatre in Exeter with my daughter and son-in-law. I visited this hotel for one night as was going to the theatre in Exeter with my daughter and son-in-law. The hotel is opposite Exeter Central railway station and just a few hundred yards to the city centre. Parking at the hotel is very limited, we parked in the multistorey a short distance down the road. Staff at the hotel were lovely, reception in particular. I called the hotel a couple of days before our arrival to ask if my daughter and son in-laws room could have a little decoration as it was her birthday on the day of our stay. This wasn't a problem and I was informed it was complimentary, a very nice touch and she really appreciated it, thank you housekeeping. The hotel is clean as are the rooms which are large with a comfy bed and pillows. There are tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board and TV. We had walk in showers which were powerful and hot. We did have breakfast which was plentiful and hot, so all in all a very good stay and I would recommend.

“Disappointed”

Clean but could do with redecorating/deep cleaning in places. Mattress uncomfortable and knobbly - needs a topper. Doors slam hard and creaky floorboards and was woken by neighbours several times in the night with loud slamming doors. The Drakes bar is nothing special. For a hotel of that size and … lisää

For a hotel of that size and grand I was expecting better. Staff were good.
