Fantastic hotel located in the heart of Exeter. Easy and smooth check in process, comfortable, clean and all the facilities needed in the room. Breakfast is very good and in a nice setting, eating in the garden or inside the restaurant.

The place is under new management. Go check the place out. You won’t regret it.

I’ve stayed at Hotel du Vin Exeter before, and once again it didn’t disappoint. This visit was every bit as good as the last. I’ve stayed at Hotel du Vin Exeter before, and once again it didn’t disappoint. This visit was every bit as good as the last. I was very grateful to be upgraded to a larger room, which was spacious, comfortable, and had a lovely standalone bath as well as a separate shower. The room was really well equipped too, with an iron and ironing board, a mini fridge, a coffee machine, and even an electric fan. We stayed during a particularly hot couple of days, so having the fan available and being able to open the windows made a big difference. Breakfast each morning was excellent, with everything cooked fresh, and it was a lovely way to start the day. In the evenings we enjoyed sitting out in the rear garden courtyard with a few drinks, which was a really relaxing way to unwind. The biggest highlight, though, was the staff. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Whatever we asked for, they did their best to accommodate, and the level of service throughout our stay was faultless. The only slight downside is the parking. The hotel parking is limited, but there is a public car park right next door. Parking charges apply until 10pm, after which it’s free overnight until 8am, so it wasn’t too much of an inconvenience. Overall, another fantastic stay. I really couldn’t have asked for better service, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
