Fabulous location for town walks, swims etc. Beautiful decor throughout. Very helpful staff. Great base for Coastal Path Walks . Quiet . Gardens, room, restaurant and terrace overlooking harbour. Good value for the quality of accomodation. Even got a great yoga class in during my stay there.

Wonderful hotel with great views, friendly service, spacious rooms, super breakfast and great food for dinner. They have onsite parking, one should reserve in advance. I highly recommend this great hotel walking distance to all Fowey has to offer!

We have stayed in five Harbour hotels now and found this one to be amongst the best. We had a superior sea view room as it was my birthday whilst we there and it was a delight to sit at the window to watch the river at all times of the day and even in the night. The whole hotel is spotless and there was plenty of room in the bedroom for storing our clothes. We were able to have a car parking space for only one night; having to park in the road nearby or the car park up at the top of the cliff is a drawback. The staff were all welcoming, friendly, interested in us but not nosey, and nothing was too much trouble. A "happy birthday" sign was put in my sundae and a candle lit, which was a nice touch. The menu in the evening is the same as other Harbour hotels and cooked quite well. Breakfasts were plentiful whether you have the continental or the cooked option (which is extra). We will definitely return! Thank you!

“Mixed experience”

Positive: the view is phenomenal, the rooms are very clean, and the entire hotel makes a good impression. The staff at the bar and in the restaurant were very friendly. We had dinner at the hotel and it was excellent. On the negative side, the entire organization regarding parking management was outrageous. It started with the claim upon our arrival that we hadn't reserved a parking space; fortunately, we had a printed copy of the email confirmation with us. We were likely misled, as a wedding was taking place and there was a shortage of space. In any case, we had to provide proof, while the receptionist made no effort to help. On the second day, our reserved and paid-for parking space was occupied. There was no apology, just a statement that we would now have to share the space—something that had never been mentioned at the time of booking. It was also disappointing that the room window could only be opened by 5 cm. With temperatures hitting 30°C and no air conditioning, the air in the room became very stuffy. Unfortunately, the negative experiences regarding parking and the staff's inappropriate behavior overshadowed the hotel's positive aspects, which is why we would not book there again. At check-out, we overheard a couple saying they wouldn't book the hotel again. It's a real shame about this otherwise lovely hotel.
