“Great venue”

We attended for a family wedding in the ballroom which was a stunning venue for such a wonderful day. The staff were thoughtful and attentive throughout the evening, Katie was very helpful with dietary requirements.

Oh what a night! We are couple in our late 70’s who enjoy tribute nights. Oh what a night! We are couple in our late 70’s who enjoy tribute nights. We had the most fantastic evening at Gisborough Hall’s ABBA tribute night, the staff, the food, the service were all second to none. ABBA were fantastic, the dance floor was full all evening. People were suggesting the drinks were expensive but I would pay the same in my local pub! I would definitely recommend the event and can’t wait for the next one. Thank you to all involved!

“Excellent few days away”

We stayed for two nights for the Abba Tribute . Couldn't of asked for a better stay ! First night we stayed in one of the hotel rooms and could not fault it ,very clean and tidy and the bed was unbelievable comfortable. We stayed for two nights for the Abba Tribute . Couldn't of asked for a better stay ! First night we stayed in one of the hotel rooms and could not fault it ,very clean and tidy and the bed was unbelievable comfortable. W had breakfast the next day and the poached eggs one of the best we have had ,everything freshly made to order . we had dinner in the restraunt again couldn't fault the service or food ,we then enjoy the night of ABBA. Day two we stayed in the shepherds huts to have a day to relax and unwind after our second morning of breakfast. The huts are amazing very private! and the views of nature whilst relaxing in the soak tubs just made the stay complete, we have already booked to stay again next month and are counting down the days The hotel itself was very busy during our stay but nothing was any trouble for the staff members all polite and attentive. We look forward to seeing yous all again soon

Lovely being able to stay in a big manor house in a good location for a reasonable price. Really good room with bath and separate shower and Woodland wing rooms are dog friendly. Lovely being able to stay in a big manor house in a good location for a reasonable price. Really good room with bath and separate shower and Woodland wing rooms are dog friendly. Very clean and peaceful. Only very slight negatives: they are difficult to contact by phone (no answer and did not reply to message left), they did not know we had a dog (although it was clearly stated on the Agoda booking form and confirmation), the woodland next to Woodland wing is not accessible to walk in and the layout inside the buiding is not easy to work out. On the latter point a map in the bedrooms that shows where the public rooms/spaces are and how to get there would be very useful (for instance it took us a day to discover that you could reach the breakast room by passageways on the first floor without having to walk round outside but I am still not sure if there is a lift down to the breakfast room for those with limited mobility). All told though, very good and we would return.
