The room was clean and tidy to stay in and the staff at the beef eater was outstanding very pleasant and always there if you needed anyhink and they made me very welcome and the food was excellent to

We were a party of five, who stayed three nights and were very impressed with the cleanliness, organisation and quiet rooms. We were a party of five, who stayed three nights and were very impressed with the cleanliness, organisation and quiet rooms. There is easy entrance at the ground floor to the adjoining Beefeater for all meals and other eateries are close to the hotel e.g. The Percy Shaw pub was very good (and named after the inventor of cats eyes). At reception, Joseph went out of his way to help at check in and provide parking tips at the nearby multi-storey car park. We did have to ask for another set of bath towels, as only one set was provided even when two guests were booked in. Also the nearby car park was pricey at £15 for an overnight stay. The rooms with a view are recommended and from the photos, you can see the impressive Halifax Town Hall, which was designed by the famous Victorian architect Sir Charles Barry, who also designed the Houses of Parliament. Overall the hotel is good value for money for visiting Halifax with its attractions of the beautiful Minster, the impressive Piece Hall, the Victorian market place and the little known folly, Wainhouse Tower.

“Closure of the Beefeater Restaurant.”

Love this hotel but upset that the Beefeater is closing with a loss of a lot of the most wonderful staff from this restaurant. The Restaurant is adjoined to the Hotel and the staff in this Restaurant work so hard, remember guests names, eating preferences, always a smile and very warm welcome. I si… lisää

Love this hotel but upset that the Beefeater is closing with a loss of a lot of the most wonderful staff from this restaurant. The Restaurant is adjoined to the Hotel and the staff in this Restaurant work so hard, remember guests names, eating preferences, always a smile and very warm welcome. I sincerely hope all the staff either can stay on or manage in this dreadful work climate to find equal if not better pay in their new jobs. Shame on Premier Inn.
