“A great town to visit”
A lovely overnight stay here on a very hot sunny day. Informative with regards to parking arrangement and a great welcome. Our room had a fan and an air conditioning unit greatly appreciated. “Excellent Christmas Break”
We stayed over Christmas (24th/25th). The hotel wasn't open on Christmas day but their sister hotel/pub (The County) across the road provided all the necessary services (eg. breakfast, additional room refreshments etc). “recently renovated and worth a visit”
The hotels location & staff were great. We had a very comfortable room with king-size bed and a modern large bathroom with shower. Breakfast each morning in the pub was most enjoyable. “Brilliant Place for Lunch.”
Just passing through, we had lunch and drinks in the bar. Food was fantastic, generous portions, compliments to the chef. Lady behind the bar was brilliant. “Well located, but beware of the drunks in front!”
Well located and with knowledgeable staff. My room was small, but tasteful and comfortable.
