“Evening dinner”

Had a great stay. Excellent service of dinner by Tash. Polite, friendly and always quick when serving each course. She made the whole evening a very enjoyable experience.

We took our granddaughter to the Harry Potter Studio Tour and decided to stay overnight rather than face the long drive home afterwards. My husband found this hotel at a very reasonable price and, as we only needed somewhere to sleep, we didn’t expect too much. However, we were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The interior was light, airy, and welcoming. At reception we were greeted by Isabelle, who was lovely—she asked about our day and told us to let them know if we needed anything. Our room was very clean and well stocked with plenty of towels, along with hand wash, body wash, and shampoo. There was also a thoughtful sign in the bathroom letting guests know that if they had forgotten any small essentials, reception could provide them complimentary. Breakfast was included and was excellent, with cereals, fruit compote, yogurt, cooked breakfast items, as well as croissants, toast, and muffins. Every member of staff we encountered—from reception to the cleaner we spoke to on the second floor—was friendly and helpful. A great stay and excellent value for money.

“Great for overnight stay”

Friendly staff who gave us a room that Kira had allocated. Spotlessly clean with lovely thick white towels and lots of hot water. Nice, bright lights in the room. Friendly staff who gave us a room that Kira had allocated. Spotlessly clean with lovely thick white towels and lots of hot water. Nice, bright lights in the room. Only problem we had was that it was a cold night and we couldn’t get the heater to give out much heat. The staff gave us a standalone heater which helped. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good. But restaurant was cold too! Breakfast was great although my husband would have welcomed fried eggs instead of scrambled. Lots of staff in attendance everywhere. A good hotel, close to the motorway for an overnight stay. Special thanks to the young lady that cleaned the room. She ran out to the car park with two iPads we’d left in the room. A credit to Holiday Inn.

“Pleasant hotel”

We always book here to visit family. This time round, March 2026, we had room 230. The bed was so hard and sleep suffered. Never had that issue before.
