“Best ever hotel stay”

“Return trip”
Stayed here in October and booked again for New Years Eve with our friends. The rooms were lovely we had the Partridge and Quail rooms (both on the ground floor). “What a relaxing hidden gem.”
We booked following seeing a deal online. What attracted us was the picturess rural setting and short travelling to Beamish museum and Durham Cathedral and city. “A warm welcome, friendly staff, good food, beautiful setting.”
My wife and I spent 2 nights here and were made welcome by friendly, efficient staff. Our room was large and airy with en suite shower and toilet and a comfortable double bed.
