We stayed 4nights with a coach party. As soon as you walk in the hotel it has a lovely feeling. All the staff are so welcoming and helpful including the owners. We stayed 4nights with a coach party. As soon as you walk in the hotel it has a lovely feeling. All the staff are so welcoming and helpful including the owners. Our room was spotless and a good size with everything you needed. The only issue was there was no mattress cover and the sheet really wasn’t big enough to tuck in properly. The breakfast and evening meal were excellent, also they had already laid the table for us and our 5 friends. We would definitely comeback and would recommend to everyone. Thank you again for a brilliant stay.

“A great stay at a lovely hotel”

A lovely warm friendly hotel. Staff were fantastic, so helpful, and friendly. A lot of young staff which was lovely to see, all extremely smartly dressed, the lads in the kitchen all seemed very professional and worked non stop especially on their special meal deals evening. A lot of young staff which was lovely to see, all extremely smartly dressed, the lads in the kitchen all seemed very professional and worked non stop especially on their special meal deals evening. Great area, very picturesque. Bathroom was a bit shabby but clean, rooms nice, warm and comfortable. All in all a great stay. They deserve to continue doing really well, due to all the hard work they put in to make everyone happy and welcome.

“Great hotel for a short break”

We recently stayed at the foxfields with friends on a coach trip, the hotel was nice and clean, food was excellent and the all the staff were always helpful and informative only downside we were not informed that the swimming pool facilities were closed at 4pm for booked swimming classes, not sure… lisää

“Disappointing second visit to Foxfield.”

We stayed at this hotel in January and were given the most amazing suites . Dinner and service in the restaurant then were excellent. We decided to come back in April for my son in laws 50 th birthday. What a change ! On arrival we were told that the 3 downstairs suites we had booked in January wer… lisää

We stayed at this hotel in January and were given the most amazing suites . Dinner and service in the restaurant then were excellent. We decided to come back in April for my son in laws 50 th birthday. What a change ! On arrival we were told that the 3 downstairs suites we had booked in January were not available. They could only give us one downstairs suite . We were given two more upstairs . All 3 were quite frankly shabby and outdated . It soon became apparent that our downstairs suites had been taken over by guests at a very lavish wedding. Service at dinner was slow and when we asked to change tables due to my disability aid the head waiter was rude and refused to change our table said we had only booked a table not reserved one ! Is there a difference ? It was obvious that the management at Foxfields are only interested in hosting weddings at the weekends and other guests are sidelined when a wedding is on . We had paid a lot more for our rooms in April than we did in January. We were very disappointed at our experience and definitely felt second best . We won’t be coming to Foxfields anymore and will tell our friends to avoid it too .
