What can I say that hasn’t already been said. As this was my first stay in Liverpool and at the time of booking wasn’t expecting to come again, so we thought we’d have a riverside view from our room. The rooftop bar was the second attraction we went for, the plan was to enjoy a gin & tonic looking out over the city and we weren’t disappointed. The views are great and the staff in the bar were very attentive and polite. We could not fault the room everything we needed together with complimentary cold drinks. Travelling from the South Coast, we stopped off a night in a 4* hotel prior to finishing the journey to Liverpool on the second day. I hasten to add not Melia hotel We came to Innside rather wary of the restaurant food based on the experience of the previous day. The restaurant staff were very attentive and aware of my needs for a gluten free diet. It has to be said that the meal I had was excellent, Risotto Primavera , Patate al Forno, I know a strange combination but that’s what I fancied. Followed by Panna Cotta with strawberries and basil. Breakfast, as is usual these days self service, with the option to order poached eggs and gluten free toast from the waitress and brought to the table. The muffins looked delicious, but unfortunately not gluten free. Again an excellent meal and I was prepared for the journey ahead. The only thing I find worth mentioning, I was given a 10% off voucher to use but the discount was absorbed by the 10% service charge added to the bills. However this would not stop me from staying here again.

The service was excellent from start to finish, and the staff always made me feel welcome. A special thank you to Nicole, who is an absolute credit to the hotel. She is friendly, professional, and always goes above and beyond to make every stay enjoyable. It's because of people like Nicole that I keep coming back. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again. I highly recommend Innside by Melia and look forward to staying here again.

Stayed here two weekends ago and can’t praise this hotel highly enough. Excellent price, extremely clean and very quiet. We opted for a river view room and this was well worth the extra money. Stayed here two weekends ago and can’t praise this hotel highly enough. Excellent price, extremely clean and very quiet. We opted for a river view room and this was well worth the extra money. We also went for dinner and breakfast too. Again unbelievable value and quality. Massive meal portions were an added bonus. On site facilities are excellent and would highly recommend to anyone needing a hotel in this area.

The location of Innside Meliá Liverpool is excellent, and Room 1515 had a beautiful view overlooking the water and cruise ships, which was definitely a highlight of the stay. The restaurant was incredible and easily one of the best parts of the experience. That said, there were several disappointments. The bathroom was very small and unusually open to the room, which may not suit everyone. The water pressure was weak, and the shower never got properly hot. Service was inconsistent. Some staff seemed quite inexperienced, while others appeared distracted and not very attentive. The biggest frustration was that I accidentally left behind my Tempur-Pedic pillow, which is not small and something I travel with often. When I called the same day, it felt like there was little urgency to check with housekeeping, and somehow it has now “gone missing.” For a hotel of this caliber, that was disappointing and concerning, especially given the value of the item. There’s some charm to the property, but small details, like the tiny lift to reception where you have to hold the button the entire time, and the overall service gaps, made it feel below the rating and class it presents itself as.
