“A small, basic hotel with no major issues”
A small, basic hotel which was OK for one night. We had a room at the back, which was adequate. There was a step down to the room, and steps in the room, which were a slight concern to my partner who has limited mobility, as were the steps up to the floor the room was on. “Wonderfully dog friendly, super clean and perfect breakfast!”
What an absolutely fantastic hotel! I’ve never been anywhere so dog friend me and I love the touch of having sausage for the dog at breakfast. The rooms were super clean and fairly recently done up. “Good value, great breakfast but housekeeping needs more attention”
We had a relaxing stay for 3 nights. This was our fourth or fifth stay. The hotel offers good value, a great breakfast, convenient location, plenty of hot water and warmth. “Comfortable and clean small hotel.”
We have stayed here on four different occasions this year, en-route to the Isle of Wight, which tells you all you need to know. “Honest, true review”
The hotel welcome at reception was good, with the male member of staff taking us to our room and showing us around. We had one of the Mad Hatter self catering cottages.
