The Crown Manor House Hotel

“One of the very best hotels in the Forest”

As regular visitors to the New Forest we have tried many hotels but not previously the Crown Manor House. We rate this hotel as good as our favourite in Brockenhurst. Lyndhurst is busier and noisier but our superior room in this hotel was fabulous. We usually eat out as well as in but it was so go… lisää

As regular visitors to the New Forest we have tried many hotels but not previously the Crown Manor House. We rate this hotel as good as our favourite in Brockenhurst. Lyndhurst is busier and noisier but our superior room in this hotel was fabulous. We usually eat out as well as in but it was so good on our first night we stayed in for the second. Excellent.

“Need somewhere nice to stay in Lyndhurst? Look no further.”

The staff at the hotel were exemplary. All of them. The room was very pleasant and although looking out over the front of the hotel (immediately opposite the main road and with an impressive church directly opposite) we had 3 undisturbed nights. The staff at the hotel were exemplary. All of them. The room was very pleasant and although looking out over the front of the hotel (immediately opposite the main road and with an impressive church directly opposite) we had 3 undisturbed nights. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was excellent. Lovely squeaky floorboards and HUGE amounts of character throughout - I loved the place. Lovely food in the restaurant, although a little on the high side price-wise, but excellent quality and wonderful service. We'll be going there again.

“Excellent position for short stay”

Another enjoyable visit to Crown Manor. Old fashioned with creaky floors but excellent service and great breakfast in a light and airy room. If you travel in summer, it might be worth checking if your room is air-conditioned. Super position to walk into Lyndhurst and for visiting the Forest and its… lisää

Another enjoyable visit to Crown Manor. Old fashioned with creaky floors but excellent service and great breakfast in a light and airy room. If you travel in summer, it might be worth checking if your room is air-conditioned. Super position to walk into Lyndhurst and for visiting the Forest and its lovely villages. If you like Indian food, the Passage to India is well worth a visit.

“Good little stop off”

Everything is fine but the bathroom we stayed in had terrible leak damage. You will see lovely pictures of the rooms but specific angles in the bathroom.
