“Amazing stay at Clifton Park Hotel”

I've just had yet another superb stay at Clifton Park Hotel. I arrived early and the lovely manager, John, checked me in which was very kind and helpful. He greeted me throughout my stay by name which was so nice as he must see hundreds of guests and I sure wouldn't remember everyone's name! As soon as I walk into Clifton Park Hotel, I feel at home. The hotel's communal areas are decorated beautifully and are very comfortable. My room, on the first floor, is one I've stayed in before. It was a single, but roomy and homely. It's well furnished and facing the main road, which I like as I love people-watching! The room and ensuite were clean and comfortable. The hotel is a ten minute gentle stroll into the town centre, or just a few minutes walk to the glorious beach. There are many restaurants, cafes and quirky independent shops, as well as the chains, including a Marks and Spencer Food Hall. There's also a gorgeous park in the town centre that's worth checking out. With Lytham and Blackpool both being a hop, skip and a jump away, the hotel is perfectly situated and on the bus routes for both destinations. The pool, ahhh, the pool. My favourite thing about the hotel. The pool is beautiful! I could honestly spend all day in there. As I'm quite local, I'm thinking of getting a membership for the leisure suite so I can spend more time there! There's a lounge beside the pool, which is ideal for reading, having a peaceful drink or just whiling some time away. The garden is lovely too, but as it was winter, I stayed indoors. I booked a winter warmer package which included dinner, bed and breakfast. The luxurious decor is carried into the dining room. The menu choice is plentiful. The food was delicious and piping hot. I couldn't fault it. There seemed to be various groups on holiday, so the dining room was full of life and laughter. Breakfast was also very good, plenty of choice on the buffet and good quality food. Staff at this hotel cannot do enough for their guests. This absolutely shines through and it's why the hotel feels so homely. My guilty secret is that I live less than two miles away in Blackpool, but this hotel is the perfect place for a staycation, a change of scenery, a place to swim, rejuvenate and revitalise. Who needs to sit on a train or plane for hours to go away when this place is on ones doorstep?

“A very relaxing break.”

Excellent service from the staff from the minute we arrived till we left. Hotel was lovely, rooms lovely and warm. Facilities were good we enjoyed the swimming pool and jacuzzi which we had to ourselves each time we booked our slot. Food was really nice would well recommend the hotel good value for… lisää

“Lovely little gem”

Lovely hotel in great area.. cozy and charming.. nice facilities including indoor heated pool and jacuzzi, also a small well equipped gym.. our room was lovely, big and spotless with everything we needed for our 2 night stay.. breakfast was fresh, hot and plentiful..
