I stayed at Taplow House with my sister for a spa weekend getaway, and we were both so glad we chose it. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms were elegant, spacious and spotlessly clean, and the wellness spa pool was a great size, set within stunning gardens. The food was absolutely delicious and one of the highlights of our stay. Every meal was beautifully presented, full of flavour and made with high-quality ingredients. Breakfast offered a great selection, and our evening meals were exceptional. The staff were warm, attentive and looked after us so well throughout our stay, making us feel genuinely welcome. I also treated myself to a facial, which was absolute heaven and left me feeling completely relaxed. One of my favourite things was that the hotel is dog-friendly. I loved meeting all the gorgeous dogs and giving them plenty of belly rubs! We even spotted a deer one evening, which made our stay feel even more special. We stayed for two nights and left feeling refreshed and thoroughly spoiled. My sister and I are already planning to come back. I would highly recommend Taplow House to anyone looking for a relaxing spa break in beautiful surroundings. It offers excellent value for money and is the perfect place to unwind.

“Great weekend getaway!”

We had an amazing weekend, celebrating our special wedding anniversary! Staff were super helpful & attentive. From the Chkin reception staff, dining staff and the spa and massage staff. We were made to feel very special! Thank you to all the staff!

Lovely hotel, a period property that’s well maintained and has lively gardens with feature tulip trees. Stayed in James 1 suite which was spacious, well appointed and air conditioning was excellent. Staff were very personable and food was excellent. Only minor negatives were no draught beer and hydro pool could have been cooler in the hot weather.

“Weekday spa break treat”

We had a midweek overnight spa break as a treat for my sister’s birthday. The hotel is easily accessible from the M4 . Just 10 minutes from J7. The hotel and grounds are lovely. The staff were all very friendly, professional and welcoming. Happy birthday chocolates in our room were a lovely, unexpected surprise. Food was excellent. Our spa experiences were very good. 2 of us had hour long facials using amazing Templespa products. I was looked after by the excellent Shehla. A huge Thankyou to Alastair in reservations for looking after us so well. We hope to visit again soon.
