“Excellent, value for money home cooked food.”
Extremely warm welcome when you walk in, pub feels friendly from the onset, very dog friendly, we were made to feel at ease with our three tiny terrors. “Drinks with friends”
I had drinks with friends who we all hadn't seen for a while. Had great service from Kit, who was attentive and chatty with really quality table service. Frazzle orders were met with enthusiasm too! Will definitely revisit and look forward to it!

“Last minute dinner”
We decided to go out at the last minute (not a good idea!) When I phoned the landlord said they were busy but could fit us in (it was steak night). We had a warm welcome. “Don’t go by the website”
The food was fine and the service OK, but be aware that the menu and pricing are nothing like what’s on their website. We went in based on what we saw on the website, and the menu was much more limited than we expected (themed nights), and the food somewhat more expensive.
