From the moment we arrived, every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcome. The service throughout our stay was exceptional – everyone was friendly, approachable and couldn’t do enough to help. It’s rare to find such consistently warm hospitality. We actually arrived by bike and, as we didn’t have bicycle locks with us, the team were incredibly accommodating and allowed us to store our bikes securely indoors overnight in the concierge area. It was a small gesture that made a huge difference and perfectly summed up their willingness to go the extra mile. All three rooms were spotless, with really comfortable beds that made for a great night’s sleep. The bathrooms were clean, modern and well maintained. The breakfast was one of the highlights. There was an excellent buffet with plenty of choice, and a special thank you to Chef Sam, who was outstanding. He cooked delicious fresh eggs to order and even kept the buffet going a little longer for us after we’d spent the morning enjoying the swimming pool and arrived towards the end of breakfast service. That level of flexibility and customer care really stood out and was hugely appreciated. The leisure facilities were excellent too. The swimming pool is a great size, the jacuzzi is one of the biggest we’ve used in a hotel, and the sauna and steam room were perfect for relaxing. There are also plenty of comfortable areas to sit and unwind. We also enjoyed spending time in the bar, which had a great atmosphere for watching the World Cup. Overall, this hotel delivers on every level: comfortable rooms, fantastic food, excellent leisure facilities and, most importantly, outstanding people. The friendliness and willingness of every member of staff to help made our stay truly memorable. We all left feeling genuinely looked after and would highly recommend Delta Hotels Peterborough to anyone visiting the area.
