“Be on the lookout if you use Hotels.com or Expedia to book a break.”
I made one booking for two nights via Hotels.com but for some reason Hotels.com made two bookings with the hotel under two individual reference numbers but only sent me one email confirmation which, due to a family bereavement, I had to cancel. “Great place to base your experience of Rye on. Full of praise for it.”
We stayed for two nights at the Lookout. It was a really nice stay. Comfortable, clean, but also quirky( in a good way) and characterful as a place to stay. The staff were excellent. Welcoming, friendly and helpful. It is a fine location in central Rye with everything accessible.

“Lovely stay”
We really enjoyed our stay here from the moment we arrived until when left. There's a very friendly welcoming atmosphere, the reception also serves as the bar and part of the breakfast experience which i really liked as it wasn't formal or stuffy. “Great Hotel in Central Rye”
We stayed one night for the Scallop festival and it was the perfect base. Great central location, friendly staff and beautiful, newly renovated rooms with everything you need for a comfortable stay

“Needs a refurb sadly”
Stayed for one night at the Lookout which apparently is the sister hotel of The George in Rye. The front of the hotel, has no kerb appeal as desperately needs a coat of paint. Sadly dead flowers when we arrived but just needed a few pots of flowers outside to give the hotel an uplift. The hotel … lisää
