“An OK stay but check-in was not ideal”

We stayed the night here when attending a concert at St Mary’s. Overall the room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. However the room was hot and windows barely opened and there was no fan. We stayed the night here when attending a concert at St Mary’s. Overall the room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. However the room was hot and windows barely opened and there was no fan. The bed mattress was very soft which is not ideal. Shower was good and bed linen was high quality. The worst thing was that at 3pm check-in was still not available and lots of people were waiting. This is madness as rooms will have been ready! Then I filled in the registration online only to have to do it again on paper. They need to sort the check-in experience and work more for their customers rather than have strict rules. Staff were friendly though.

“Food really bad”

We stayed as park of a stay and park for cruise package. Initially at face value the -allocated room 50 seemed ok. We stayed as park of a stay and park for cruise package. Initially at face value the -allocated room 50 seemed ok. My husband’s asthma was troublesome during the stay I looked behind the bedside table in the morning and it was thick with dust. Worse experience was the evening meal, it was probably the worse meal I ever had. I had the fish which was cremated, dry and the minted peas which literally poured mint sauce over. Both my husband and I vomitted in the night. The restaurant staff were lovely but they were very young and as a result I didn’t push the meal complaint. The receptionists were polite and helpful. The bed itself was comfortable.
