“Great location and confy room”

We loved our stay at the Pilgrim Inn. We found it excellent value for money, the room was really comfortable and well appointed. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and they had a very reasonable offer which we took advantage of, and the food was delicious. Breakfast was included in the rate, b… lisää

We loved our stay at the Pilgrim Inn. We found it excellent value for money, the room was really comfortable and well appointed. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and they had a very reasonable offer which we took advantage of, and the food was delicious. Breakfast was included in the rate, but again it was really nice and plenty of choice. Service was excellent and the location is good too, right on the edge of the New Forest and close to Southampton. Lots of parking too.

We found this to be excellent value for money as the breakfast was included and was simply divine The room was big enough for our needs We absolutely love the toilet toiletries and no expense were spared on these. We also appreciated the tea and coffee facilities and the gorgeous little bottle of local milk. We were thoroughly recommend this for couples and will definitely be returning

“Dirty room”

First impressions on entering the room were good, but unfortunately things went downhill from there. Firstly the good things. The bedroom its self is spacious as is the bathroom. The beds are comfortable but unfortunately the same can't be said about tge pillows. One of mine was like a rock and the other was very soft, which I don't mind, but was extremely thin, which I do mind. Unfortunately the housekeeping team seem extremely slapdash in their cleaning. There were piles of dust behind and under the beds, ( the beds moved with the slightest touch, so the dust was really evident). The headboards were covered in dust as well, as was the plinth around the shower, and the shelf on the bedside cabinets. The toilet didn't look like it'd been cleaned and still had toilet paper in it, and it looked like the last occupant may have been a lady who was on wrong time of the month, I'll leave u to imagine that. The lighting in the room is extremely poor, with 3 spot lights running down one side of the room, and nothing other than 2, ineffective bedside lamps ner the bed. Was very difficult to read in bed due yo the poor lighting. On the plus side, all the staff we met were pleasant and polite, and the food and service in the restaurant was very good.

My grandson and I popped in for breakfast at 7.30 am while the car was being fixed. There was one other customer, we were given the table right by the door, so every time the door was opened we got the benefit. I had the Benedict, the ham was really cold and so the eggs were cold. My grandson and I popped in for breakfast at 7.30 am while the car was being fixed. There was one other customer, we were given the table right by the door, so every time the door was opened we got the benefit. I had the Benedict, the ham was really cold and so the eggs were cold. I had a pot of tea, my grandson had apple juice, 1 glass and then 1/2 glass refill £6.90. The kids breakfast menu was limited, so he chose beans, sausage, bacon and eggs. The bill was over £26 for a at best average breakfast whilst sitting in the cold by the front door.
