The breakfast was as good as we remembered and the staff kept things well replenished. A very slight down was the club room. There was definitely not enough food for the numbers they were expecting. Still a great hotel with a brilliant location - highly recommended

“Perfect!”

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautifully situated hotel for a family reunion. Not only was the location beautiful so was the staff. I had the pleasure of staying at this beautifully situated hotel for a family reunion. Not only was the location beautiful so was the staff. Nothing was to much trouble , we were a large group and they accommodated us in make sure we were always placed together . The food was delicious service was impeccable. The actual hotel interior was well done lots of areas to sit with different mood settings . I can honestly say they had the whole package do not hesitate to book . Thank you for making it a memorable weekend from start to finish

“Great location”

This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel and the location is fantastic. Rooms are comfortable and restaurant has a reasonable breakfast buffet. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only downside was the temperature in the rooms was hot due to the weather and lack of air conditioning that worked. This needs updating and quickly.

“Pleasant, well located hotel but let down by usual hotel experience issues.”

This hotel is well located in Stratford upon Avon. It is close to the Theatres, shops and parks. The public areas of the hotel were well presented and in good order. This hotel is well located in Stratford upon Avon. It is close to the Theatres, shops and parks. The public areas of the hotel were well presented and in good order. The staff were pleasant and the room itself was large, clean and with reasonable facilities. However, the water pressure in the shower was poor, the air conditioning noisy and not greatly effective, which was a shame since once again in a British hotel, you couldn’t open the windows (I appreciate the health and safety concerns but it has gone too far resulting in stale, unhealthy air). We didn’t ask for a room with a view but nor did we appreciate the one we had (1075), which looked on to dirty roofs with cabling, pigeon droppings and other detritus). We also had to put up with noise from a function room below; this is another issue all hotels need to deal with. Hosting functions is part of most hotels remit, but it must never interfere with the experience of other hotel users who just want a good, uninterrupted nights sleep; sound proofing must be upgraded. All of this was mentioned to reception on checkout and whilst a polite apology was received and reassurances that management would be told, I suspect absolutely nothing will be done to correct them. No refund or price reduction was offered. To end on a positive note, breakfast was reasonably priced and with plenty of choice.
