“Lovely friendly pub”

Lovely pub in a beautiful location. Staff are amazing. Thank you for a warm welcome and excellent service. Love all the little spaces inside and the beer garden looking straight at the abbey. Would recommend this pub to all who visit Tewkesbury. Didn’t stay or eat here so can’t comment on either.

We had one night stay here I would not really say I would stay in the hotel, rooms clean but dated and tired, the noise was not great with traffic and other industrial extractor fans so did not sleep great, however I have to rate the receptionist (lovely lady) very attentive and all the staff in the pub made our stay so very comfortable and welcoming, also the food was very nice too 👍

A great location right opposite the Abbey and a short walk into town. There are a number of great restaurants within 5 minutes walk as well. The rooms are ok except ours had a rip in the bathroom flooring which questions the attention to fatality of the place and made the whole thing tatty. The WiF… lisää

A great location right opposite the Abbey and a short walk into town. There are a number of great restaurants within 5 minutes walk as well. The rooms are ok except ours had a rip in the bathroom flooring which questions the attention to fatality of the place and made the whole thing tatty. The WiFi in the room was hit and miss kept dropping out. The bed was good and the room although a little tired was fine. Tea and coffee enough for several cups but only enough milk for 2 cups! Breakfast on the first morning was good and the waitress although under pressure was great. However morning two the cold selection was not as extensive as day 1 waitress not great got the order wrong and served a big pot of tea, enough for several cups with one tea bag in, ok if you want really weak tea! The milk was not bought with the tea as in day 1 you were expected to go and help yourself. When the correct breakfast arrived the bacon had been kept warm making it rock hard and could not get a fork in it let alone cut it. A pleasant stay but with a little attention to detail could have made in a fantastic stay
