Just got back after a wonderful few days at Higher Moor Farm Campsite. We travelled to the site on Bank Holiday Monday. On arrival there was a slight hiccup with our booking due to a system issue which was beyond their control but the staff went above and beyond to rectify this and we were genuinely so thankful for their efforts. We stayed in one of the family pods which had all the amenities we needed. It was lovely and cozy and the beds were comfortable. The shower was also lovely and powerful with nice hot water. We were very impressed at how clean it was and this was continued throughout all the facilities at the site. Everything was kept need and tidy and it is clear that a lot of care and attention is taken to ensure that standards are kept high. The site felt incredibly safe and secure, the security barrier at the entrance to the site added to this. Our little girl loved the on site playground which was also well maintained. Although on this occasion our accommodation was self contained, we are also keen campers and we were very impressed with the site facilities which were available. The toilet and shower blocks were immaculate and of a high standard. We were impressed by their indoor games area and also their laundry room with lockable phone charging pods. The onsite farm shop had a really good range of reasonably priced goods for sale. Another aspect of the site that we loved was the location. It felt extremely rural however it was also only a short drive from an area which had plenty of shops/services. It was an ideal base for exploring the area it was roughly a 10 min drive to get to Weymouth seafront & harbour, 30 min drive to Durdle Door and about 45 mins to Lyme Regis. We would definitely recommend this site and it’s evident that a lot of thought and pride goes into the running of this site. We will definitely return!

“Weekend break”

We stayed in a 1 bedroom lodge which was excellent, warm, clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend Higher Moor. Everything about the park is excellent.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay fantastic deluxe +2 lodge was perfect everything you need tranquil and the staff are friendly and helpful made you feel welcome, we went to celebration our anniversary and just a stones throw away from Weymouth sea front and portland bill we would highly recommend higher moor farm as a place to stay it was just what myself my husband needed. We definitely are going back next year
