“Charming gem of a hotel in South Windermere”
This was our first time visiting the south end of Lake Windermere and this charming location at Lakeside did not disappoint. Parking was easy and we received a warm welcome at reception on arrival. “Great location but expensive”
I stay here every year because the location is amazing. Our room was perfect with patio doors leading on to its own little patio area. This year service at breakfast time was much improved, we didn't feel rushed and the food was of good quality. Bad points. Bar prices are astronomical for drinks. F… lisää

“Nice hotel rubbish breakfast”
Fantastic quiet location round Lake Windermere, the hotel interior and exterior is beautiful and clean. Our room was a few floors up and very warm / stuffy. “Lovely spot”
Really lovely place for our friends wedding. Disappointed that the agreed deal for rooms for our friends wedding wasn't honoured, and we had to stay at an airbnb instead for much better value. However, shout out to rob who was a legend the whole day.
