“Lovely weekend in Falmouth.”

Hotel clean, staff very helpful and friendly. Spent weekend here, food really excellent. Nice touch when we stayed, the local brass band visited one evening and played carols, which was really lovely . Then we had a quiz evening which was popular. Stayed for 1 night whilst in town visiting University. To be honest the hotel was exactly what we expected - seaside hotel, on sea front, old style room decor & furnishings with an en suite squeezed into the corner. Stayed for 1 night whilst in town visiting University. To be honest the hotel was exactly what we expected - seaside hotel, on sea front, old style room decor & furnishings with an en suite squeezed into the corner. Great sea views from our first floor room, from the bar & breakfast room which was nice, also plenty of free parking. Staff were all very nice & friendly, but hotel has a “coach trip” vibe & clientele. Price for room was ‘going rate’ for Falmouth, & will say cooked breakfast was nice. Pleasant enough if you know what to expect.

Not suitable for disable people. Car park is a hilly with no disable bays and first come. steps up the main entrance, disable entrance right round the back and then the door frame is not easy to get over with a scooter. Car park is a hilly with no disable bays and first come. steps up the main entrance, disable entrance right round the back and then the door frame is not easy to get over with a scooter. You then go through the restaurant and again another door frame which is not easy to get over plus they have a table in the way and when someone is eating there they have to get up so you can get through. The bedrooms we had was very unsuitable when they knew my husband was a full time oxygen user when we booked, we went in the main door and the very tiny bathroom is right there no room in there to help anyone with disability's and forget the shower unless you are very slim! We then had to go down 4 steps to the bedroom in no way suitable for us.we was booked in for a week so it was a nightmare for us or anyone with some sort of problems. The hotel is a very nice hotel if you dont mind small rooms and have no mobility problems the location is great. Don’t know how anyone with mobility problems would get out in emergency.
