“A little piece of heaven”
What a wonderful experience after a long hard day’s walking. Tucked away about a mile and a half from Ennerdale Bridge, but definitely worth the taxi fare (you could walk there, but - for us - after a day’s walking and a big dinner and plenty of wine it didn’t seem an appealing idea.). “Fabulous B&B nestled in the country.”
What a wonderful B&B! We loved our stay! The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, facing a lovely garden that provided privacy. “Amazing stay”
We loved our stay at Ghyll farm! The rooms were as clean as possible and the views were amazing. The owners are super kind and very well prepared in all the different hiking routes. Out packed lunch couldn't be any better or more delicious! We loved it here!

“Superb”
Exceptional in all regards. Superb breakfast and catered very well for gluten free. Very comfortable and super clean rooms. Attention to detail was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble for Roger and Chris. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

“Fabulous!”
Excellent place to stay - very comfortable room with great linen. View is fabulous, Breakfast really good. If you are walking the C2C as we were, it isn’t out of the way at all as Roger can provide detailed instructions which take you along the north side of Ennerdale water where you rejoin the off… lisää
