Lisa, the bartender, made our stay truly memorable. We were in town on a work trip and she went above and beyond with recommendations for Harpenden and Luton, as well as helping us find a few shops for items we needed for work. As a Marriott Ambassador Elite member, I stay in hotels around the world, and it’s employees like Lisa (and Beatrice) who make a property stand out. She was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great experience. I wanted to leave her a tip, but my bill had already been closed and I didn’t have any cash. When I mentioned that, she suggested leaving a review instead, and she’s absolutely earned it. Thank you, Lisa, for your exceptional hospitality. You’re a real asset to the hotel, and we look forward to staying here again.

Every member of the team was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making guests feel welcome. A very special thank you to Roxana, Beatrice, and Klaudia. They were always smiling, kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Their positive attitude and exceptional customer service made a real difference and turned a great holiday into a memorable one. It’s staff like them that make people want to come back. “Nice by marriott”

A lovely 1 night stay before an early morning flight. The room was nice and clean with great air con. Bed was comfortable and no issues. The food was fine, I had a burger which wasnt spectacular but wasnt the worst. I would definitely stay here again. To add, it takes approx 15 min walk to airp… lisää

A lovely 1 night stay before an early morning flight. The room was nice and clean with great air con. Bed was comfortable and no issues. The food was fine, I had a burger which wasnt spectacular but wasnt the worst. I would definitely stay here again. To add, it takes approx 15 min walk to airport from this hotel, however, be aware there is a hill.

Location: perfect: 10/10 Room: perfect: 10/10 Kitchen & Bar: poor service We waited 45 minutes for a drink (classic mojito) as we were informed that there was only one staff that could make that drink and we would have to wait a bit. When we asked for an update, we were constantly being told another “2 minutes” and that turned into 45 minutes. We saw that the only bar staff that could make this drink and other staff continue serving other people straightaway while I had to continue to wait. We ordered food but we got the main before the starter, and only after I asked about where our starter was, as the staff who bought us our food seemed unaware we were also waiting for our starter. The food was cooked well and we are happy with that. I’m slightly disappointed with the service but other than that the room is very comfortable.
