Lovely hotel, very modern, amazing friendly and helpful staff. The food was excellent in the bar, and again, our waiter was very nice. Very much enjoyed the views, and the spa was very clean and nice facilities. Only complaint with the spa was most of the lockers didn’t lock and the hair conditione… lisää

Lovely hotel, very modern, amazing friendly and helpful staff. The food was excellent in the bar, and again, our waiter was very nice. Very much enjoyed the views, and the spa was very clean and nice facilities. Only complaint with the spa was most of the lockers didn’t lock and the hair conditioner in the showers wasn’t replaced. Only gripe I had with the stay was we booked for a full breakfast which we didn’t have as I wanted to do a yoga class straight afterwards and they wouldn’t let us amend it to a continental one, which would have been more than adequate for us, neither would they amend it for the following day.

“Lovely babymoon!”

We chose to come here for a short break before our first baby arrived. The room had been decorated with faux petals and popcorn which was really lovely. The cornish teabags made excellent tea, parking was straightforward and the location is great. The staff were lovely and we enjoyed our breakfasts… lisää

The cornish teabags made excellent tea, parking was straightforward and the location is great. The staff were lovely and we enjoyed our breakfasts. It was really nice to have a nice view during breakfast as we didn't have a view from our room. The only reason we have marked it down by one is because the pool was super cold! And we were really hoping for a lovely relaxing swim together. There was also a lack of seating around the pool. This can't be helped but the seagulls were also really loud! Thank you again for a special stay.

“Not as good as it looks”

The the staff are pleasant and the hotel is very clean. Our room had plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and a fridge, our view was the tops of flat roofs, nothing more. Now for the bad points, it's up a steep hill which is about a 45 minute walk from the town (even longer coming back up the hill)… lisää

The the staff are pleasant and the hotel is very clean. Our room had plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and a fridge, our view was the tops of flat roofs, nothing more. Now for the bad points, it's up a steep hill which is about a 45 minute walk from the town (even longer coming back up the hill) and beach. Breakfast was OK, usual full English, fresh fruit, toast etc, evening meal had too many herbs, spices and seeds for my liking but others would like that. If you go there on a coach tour as we did, ignore the food photos, they're for private guests, coach people don't get the same. Having said that, going there was an experience I don't wish to repeat. It's a lovely hotel if its your kind of holiday but sadly I don't think it's a good place for a coach tour.

“Unpleasant and cold experience at Fistral Beach Hotel”

This was Christmas Week and the heating did not work in the hotel. It was very cold in the hotel but despite knowing that their heating did not work no one offered us a discount on our stay. This was Christmas Week and the heating did not work in the hotel. It was very cold in the hotel but despite knowing that their heating did not work no one offered us a discount on our stay. It was very cold. The so called fire in the lounge emitted no heat whatsoever. It is not pleasant eating in a cold dining room. The lack of heating and the rude restaurant breakfast manager spoiled our stay. I would hope someone would come back to us. The food also varied from being just enough to not enough. Disappointing.
