We stayed at the Kilbirnie on a recent coach holiday. We couldn't fault the hotel or the staff in any way. The room was very clean. There was entertainment every evening. The food was good. Only a 20 minute walk into the town. There is a request bus stop outside the hotel, with buses into town every 10 minutes. The staff were polite and very helpful. We would have no hesitation on a return visit.

“Newquay special find”

What a fabulous hotel. Friendly check in. all staff very helpful and cheery. crisp clean bed linen and towels. Restaurant gives a great choice of food. Excellent location. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The Kilbirnie is a lasting holdout for the time Newquay used to enjoy, large dining capacity with enough space the ability to host an event for a great price with wonderful service at a great value price. Many places in Newquay used to match this description but sadly most have been pulled down to make way for overpriced apartments, thankfully the Kilbirnie still upholds these values We held a Charitable Dinner & Dance Event at The Kilbirnie Hotel, and not for the first (or last) time, and as always, the standard of service provided was fantastic. Stuart was often in contact regarding arrangements and the organisation, making things at Hotel level, very straightforward. The front of house team delivered their usual excellent and personal service to their guests, and the bar and restaurant staff were always on hand to provide the amazing food made by the chefs! It's always a great time at the Kilbirnie, and staying over is no different, with an indoor heated swimming pool and sauna to use free of charge - another rarity nowadays - and comfortable rooms, it's fantastic value for a sea view room with breakfast included! As always The Kilbirnie Hotel offers everything you could need for a quiet weekend away, to an event hosting a hundred or so people, thank you to all the team, and see you again soon!

“3am fire alarms and paper walls 🤣”

Stayed two nights and on a ground floor level. The room was basic but it was all you needed, a nice shower and a comfy single bed, TV and a kettle with Cornish tea and coffee. My only issues were the walls are paper thin, you can hear the room next door in the shower, every turn of a tap, the f… lisää

Stayed two nights and on a ground floor level. The room was basic but it was all you needed, a nice shower and a comfy single bed, TV and a kettle with Cornish tea and coffee. My only issues were the walls are paper thin, you can hear the room next door in the shower, every turn of a tap, the flush, etc. I didn't make use of the pool or the restaurant etc but I regret that. Apart from a fire alarm going off at 3am i had a pretty good sleep.
