“Annual visit.”
Oundle is one of our main go to locations for a short UK break and The Talbot, always our first choice for accommodation, never disappoints. “Wedding day”
5 out of 5 really isn't enough. The Talbot team worked so hard to give us the perfect wedding. The place looked beautiful and the service was amazing. Every guest commented on how perfect it was if you are thinking of using The Talbot then our advice is just book it. You will not be dissapointed.

“Great meal”
We ate here today for my husband’s birthday. We all ordered the Sunday lunch which was really nicely presented and tasty. Our only criticism was the beef was a bit fatty around the edges. The desserts were amazing, my pancetta was beautiful, my husband loved his cheesecake and my daughter liked her… lisää

“Glimpse of sunshine on a rainy day”
Even on a rainy day, the atmosphere at the Talbot Hotel was fantastic. The weather may have been gloomy outside, but the welcome inside more than made up for it. “Little irritations but hotel, rooms and staff first class.”
The hotel is very well appointed and beautifully decorated. The staff very friendly and pleasant. The bedrooms again beautifully furnished and the bed very comfortable but the facilities need to be updated ie.
