Stayed 4 nights on a coach holiday and was quite pleasantly surprised after reading numerous negative reviews.The room was clean and comfortable with a fan provided to keep cool in hot weather.Comfortable beds,hospitality tray with tea,coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits.Large flat screen TV, toiletries and Iron/ironing board and hairdryer.Dining room had several choices for dinner and breakfast was all you can eat self service.Staff were pleasant and the Gardens were nice to explore and relax in.Situated in the middle of Pitlochry High Street with shops,cafes and railway station on the doorstep with stunning views and walks.Part of the hotel isn't served by a lift so check if stairs are a problem.We had 2 flights of stairs to our room but staff are on hand to help.Would recommend and had an enjoyable stay.

“Nice night away”

Stayed here for 1 night room was small but well equipped, only downside was the hallway when anyone passed it sounded like a herd of elephants. Breakfast was usual hotel fare ok . Stayed here for 4 nights ,on arrival receptionist was very friendly.Room was spacious appeared clean and well decorated,however the bathroom around the washbasin tiles was covered in toothpaste splashes (cleaner must have missed)also towel rail.Breakfast was good,lots of choice,staff very friendly … lisää

Stayed here for 4 nights ,on arrival receptionist was very friendly.Room was spacious appeared clean and well decorated,however the bathroom around the washbasin tiles was covered in toothpaste splashes (cleaner must have missed)also towel rail.Breakfast was good,lots of choice,staff very friendly and helpfull.Housekeeping...4 night stay and not hoovered once,2nd day bathroom not cleaned,4th day arrived back early bathroom not cleaned Again ,no toilet roll replen,housekeeper was in corridor I knew she had been in room as bed was made and tea/coffee replenished,I asked her re toilet and hoovering she said it had been done,I then asked her to come in and see,on entering she then apologised and came back and cleaned bathroom,still never hoovered.On checking out receptionist was very rude (older lady)no please ,thankyou or ask if enjoyed stay...not very good customer service in my opinion.Would I stay again...because of the hotels central location I probably would but for the money paid Hotel and staff need some improvement.Stayed in Special occasion King Room 219 from 12th to 16th July.

“Room very basic and not up to standard”

Spent a couple of days at the hotel after buying a two night stay through Itison. Deal was 2 nights B&B and 1st night dinner, drink on arrival and free bottle of wine. Spent a couple of days at the hotel after buying a two night stay through Itison. Deal was 2 nights B&B and 1st night dinner, drink on arrival and free bottle of wine. Arrived at hotel for check in, we were not offered a drink on arrival. There was no bottle of wine in our room. We went for dinner that night and said to the waitress about bottle of wine, she went to reception and organized the wine to be sent to our room. We had dinner that night and the food was nice, service was also very good. We were disappointed with the standard of our room, it was a bit tired looking and could be doing with a freshen up. There was cobwebs from the coving to the curtain, the curtain pole support was broken, there was dust all around the top of the light shade, not been cleaned in a while. The extractor fan in the bathroom was broken and the bathroom steamed up when having a shower, hole in the bathroom wall due to broken door stop, one of the spotlights needs attention and the skirting along the bath needs fitted properly. Its a shame that the room was not up to standard as the restaurant food was nice, the breakfast was also very nice and the staff were very attentive.
