“Brilliant stay”

Cannot fault Ibis at Coleraine. Stayed for 2 nights on a b&b basis. The room was immaculate and the breakfast is worthy of a Michelin star. Cannot fault Ibis at Coleraine. Stayed for 2 nights on a b&b basis. The room was immaculate and the breakfast is worthy of a Michelin star. Staff are worth their weight in gold- everyone of them was pleasant and very very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. As a wheelchair dependent user the accessible room is one of the best I have ever stayed in. The bathroom was spacious allowing full wheelchair access and the many grab bars are placed in all the right places. I was able to roll straight into shower and an easy transfer to shower seat as it is at the right height. Would absolutely recommend a stay.

“Excellent Service at Reception and Bar”

I stayed at the hotel for the night and the service at reception was very good and was welcoming and gave time to each guest. “Free parking”

We were starting a road trip around Ireland & this was the first hotel we stayed at. It is sited on a retail park. It is near to the river, but you do not have a view nor any access to it. We were starting a road trip around Ireland & this was the first hotel we stayed at. It is sited on a retail park. It is near to the river, but you do not have a view nor any access to it. About 20 minutes to walk into Coleraine, so it helps that there is an adjacent restaurant. Parking is free. Our stay was ok: comfy beds, hot shower, clean room. But we had a couple of issues which spoilt our stay. We had very little sleep the 1st night because the air con kept coming on, despite us having turned it off. It was noisy and it was like trying to sleep with an idling car in the room. When we explained to staff the next morning, they appeared unconcerned. Apparently, it had been a cold night & if temp drops below 15, then air con comes on, and you can't over-ride the system! We feel that there should be a notice beside the air con control explaining this. At least we could have been prepared. Also, the shower gel container had not been filled. Again, the Receptionist was unconcerned. It was refilled on request. We realise that this is a budget hotel & we weren't expecting 4 star treatment, but addressing the basics & customer concerns should still apply.

I want to thank the staff at the ibis hotel Coleraine, due to personal circumstance my family had to stay there for 2 weeks and I can’t thank Angel-Lee, Lucas, Amy, terri and erin enough for their hospitality, kindness & making us feel like it was a home away from home. They deserve a treat. The only downfall of our stay was one member of staff Ashley was extremely rude, using foul language and swore at us on arrival, she wasn’t professional and overcharged on drinks when the price list was sitting out. I did question her and she said that it’s what she charges, when checking later in the day with another member of staff my account was plus money because she knew she over charged me. So incredibly rude but my overall experience was fantastic with the rest of the team. Rooms were immaculate and had a great home away from home. Would stay again.
