“Can't fault it”

Our Second time visiting, couldn't fault the place. The staff are amazing. The facilities are unbelievable. You can have a totally different experience every time you go. We have just booked our wedding here.

Reading through some other reviews, I’m really surprised to see that people haven’t been satisfied with customer service/ customer care. We visited in January as part of a two night overnight package and experienced a mishap, which I raised with the staff and my concern was taken very seriously. I emailed the hotel outlining the situation and received a follow up email and telephone call the following day. We were invited back in March (a date of our choosing) and the staff couldn’t have done more to ensure we had a wonderful experience. I’ve honestly never known customer service quite like it, they really went above and beyond. We’ve always found all the staff to be professional, helpful and friendly. We’ve been to the Galgorm a number of times and while yes, there’s been a couple of minor changes over the past couple of years, it is still a lovely place. Gillies food is always tasty and hearty, with a solid and reasonably priced wine list. Afternoon tea is enormous and a real treat, highly recommended. The self service cooked breakfast selection is great. Good quality products and the chefs will prepare your eggs to your liking. Apparently the breakfast in the Conservatory (table service) is lovely too so I’ll try that next time. The cocktails aren’t cheap but that’s to be expected in a hotel really. There’s definitely a great selection though. I’d recommend downloading the app and using the Rewards points scheme. I only discovered it in January and wish I’d found it earlier- you can collect points to be used across the Galgorm group restaurants, spas, golf etc so it’s really well worth doing before you book. I’d also highly recommend booking a facial as a special treat. We had ours the morning we left, so that we could make the most of it after the chlorine in the hot tubs! This review is primarily in reference to the standard of customer care, I can’t praise the quality of service highly enough. Thank you to Tara, Kenneth and the team for restoring our faith in the Galgorm and we look forward to returning later in the year.

“Absolutely perfect 👌”

This is our 5th visit to Galgorm since 2024. This is our 5th visit to Galgorm since 2024. Last October I experienced a few issues and raised them with the Galgorm , Lauren head of Guest Experiences took my feedback on board and couldn’t have been more helpful when I was booking this 3 day getaway. Again we stayed in a 2 bedroomed cottage. Amazing as always. The location of the cottages is just perfect . You are within walking distance of everything you need. Complimentary mini bar in cottage replenished daily. Such a nice though. Beds are amazing so comfortable. Galgorm is an amazing dog 🐕 friendly location. The many walks are just fantastic. Our dog loves his time at Galgorm. Thermal village was outstanding as always. We found it not too crowded at all and the new Forest spa is fabulous. Food very good in gillies and the castle . Overall we had a fantastic 3 day getaway and am so looking forward to returning in the autumn

“Not a 5 star spa”

Booked the Nightfall Spa package with friends for March 2026. The 2 course meal is rushed as they cannot serve it within the allocated one hour slot to allow 4 hours in the Spa. When you get to the Spa they tell you it clears at 21:45pm to be closed for 22:00pm. Spa is packed full of people and … lisää

Booked the Nightfall Spa package with friends for March 2026. The 2 course meal is rushed as they cannot serve it within the allocated one hour slot to allow 4 hours in the Spa. When you get to the Spa they tell you it clears at 21:45pm to be closed for 22:00pm. Spa is packed full of people and it is difficult to use water pools. I say water pools as the water is not very warm and the buttons to created bubbles on the majority of items do not work. The Spa is over used and poorly maintained. Definitely not a 5 star experience.
