The breakfast was excellent, a lovely dry fry, selection of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, and the host could not have been more helpful. “Lovely family accommodation.”

Booked on the day through booki g.com, didn't know what to expect but was really pleasantly surprised. Looked the family room which was spotlessly clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Good location close to everything but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the busy town. Lid… lisää

Booked on the day through booki g.com, didn't know what to expect but was really pleasantly surprised. Looked the family room which was spotlessly clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Good location close to everything but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the busy town. Lidl store is located right across the street. Brian the host was really lovely and cooked us a nice Ulster Fry. There was plenty of parking. Overall a lovely night away for my family at a reasonable price for Portrush.

There is no shortage of accomodation in Portrush, which can make choosing the right place to stay a bit challenging. There is no shortage of accomodation in Portrush, which can make choosing the right place to stay a bit challenging. Brae-Mar B&B is in a fabulous location, easily reachable along a main road of Portrush with a Lidl so conveniently a minute's walk away. It's also within walking distance of the center of town and the beach, if guests would prefer to leave the car behind while making the most of all Portrush has to offer (I was not driving). It's also along a main bus route. The guestroom provided all we needed for a relaxing stay (comfortable bed, peace & quiet for a great night's sleep), and the host, Brian, went out of his way to assure we had everything we required for an enjoyable visit. While I don't doubt there are many pleasant hosts in Portrush, Brian surely distinguishes himself by being so especially welcoming and thoughtful. This is a big plus when looking for just the right spot to stay for a memorable holiday! He is so considerate of guests' needs and goes out of his way to assist with specific requests. Despite being likely busy attending to other guests, he took the time for a friendly chat, and he made our stay as delightful as it could have been! I highly recommend Brae-Mar B&B, given not only that it ticks all the boxes when planning a Portrush holiday, but because staying there means being hosted by an especially welcoming and attentive host who goes above and beyond to consider the particular needs of his guests. I can't thank Brian enough for his warm hospitality and thoughfulness!

This is a gem! Fantastic bed and breakfast. Brian was such an accommodating host. Nothing was too much trouble, and he shared very helpful information about the surrounding areas. The accommodation is immaculately clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Fantastic shower and comfortable beds. Breakfast is outstanding, with a choice of continental and an excellent cooked Ulster fry, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, fruit juice etc. Check in is also very easy. Overall the Brae Mar is faultless, and the best recommendation I can give is there is no doubt I would visit again.
