“Lovely restaurant, service and food”
We had a pre drink in the sister wine bar next door which had a nice ambience . Then were shown to our table upstairs. Pleased to be on a table that had enough room. “Fantastic stay in a lovely town”
Wonderful hospitality from friendly staff in this historic and characterful building. The food was absolutely delicious and highly recommended. Well located to explore the beautiful and welcoming town of Shrewsbury!

“Weekend stay”
We stayed at the Lion and Pheasant with friends over a weekend. The hotel is in a central location, close to shops and restaurants/bars. We had dinner in the restaurant. “Almost perfect, despite the price”
We stayed in the Loft Suite, which was fabulous. The food, also fabulous. As were the staff. “Mixed feelings and disappointment”
Location good. Limited parking through very narrow entrance with not much space to manoeuvre the car. Hotel not good for any with mobility issues. Steep stairs and no lift.
