“The Boat Country Inn”
We had a wonderful experience. The manager, Jamie, was very pleasant, very attentive and made us feel like we were his favorite customers. The rest of the staff was always helpful and always smiling. “Fantastic for lunch”
Visited for lunch on Easter Sunday and both the service and the food were first class. Lovely building set in an amazing location, right next to the fantastic Strathspey steam train station (and location of Traitors tv series for fans). Staff are a credit hotel and made our visit really memorable.

“A Highland Gem”
From the warm welcome at reception to the unbelievable food in the restaurant, the Boat delivers on all fronts. The views to the Cairngorms from our room were sensational, as was the sight of the steam train arriving and departing.

The stay was good. Nilakshi and the staff were polite and well-aware of all hotel services. The buffet food was delicious. 😋

“Rather Disappointing”
Visited this place twice and want to love it but on my most recent visit it missed the mark. The location is great but whilst the room was nice enough there were things that needed improving.
