We didn’t stay at the hotel but we LOVE the restaurant, it is easily the best and most welcoming restaurant on the whole island. The staff here are, like another review said, the best in Scotland. They have a wonderful sense of humour, nothing is too much trouble and they go above and beyond, with a genuine passion for the hospitality industry. Brandon was our server last night and he had a service style that was world class. He was light on his feet when approaching the table, extremely timely, personable and affectionate in his service. We truly felt that he wanted us to not just enjoy our meal and time there but thoroughly ensure a 5 star experience. His service would be fit for Michelin service and I mean that. What an enjoyable and thoroughly nice and welcoming young man. He welcomed us immediately at the door with a big smile and greeted us goodbye warmly. It was luscious perfection. A true gentleman. I could go on all day about how wonderful his service was. Brandon, as a former server myself of many many years, you are truly exceptional. The spring menu is new and I also want to praise the chef and his nuances in this menu, it did not go unnoticed by us. It is light and playful and creative with ever flavour being perfectly seasoned and as it should be. I ordered the mussels and they were the best I have ever had. The dessert was the new panacotta. This was by far an OMG dessert. When Brandon presented it, I remarked at how feminine it was! The sherbert strawberry foam on top was like nothing I have ever had and will likely ever experience again. Truly a symphony of play, elegance and skill in the craft of cooking. I hope the chef can give himself a big pat on the back for the conception of this menu. It is as light, playful and unexpected as Spring itself. Just wow. Unlike other hotel restaurants and eateries on the island where you are treated like cattle, one in, one out, no personalisation, no real care, the Broadford is in a league of its own. Even the restaurant decor is interesting, perfectly lit and utterly perfect. We will certainly be back. We are sad to live in Glasgow when Skye has this restaurant to offer. Nothing compares. Wishing you all the very very best for 2026 going ahead, if any travellers are coming to Skye, GO HERE FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!!! You will not regret it. The place is flawless!

“Relaxing visit to Skye”

My wife and I had a flying visit to Skye this week. We had a lovely room with separate sitting area and an amazing bathroom. The hotel has a lot of character. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms spotless and a comfortable bed. We ate in the hotel restaurant, had a lovely meal and bottle of wine and didn't find it that expensive considering the quality of the food. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and served with the best view from a hotel we have seen for a long time. Wouldn't hesitate to book there again.

Late booking. Staff were excellent, professional, talkative and inviting. Room was very clean, well decorated, and very spacious. A nice comfortable bed with a nice duvet and couple of pillows. Late booking. Staff were excellent, professional, talkative and inviting. Room was very clean, well decorated, and very spacious. A nice comfortable bed with a nice duvet and couple of pillows. Large clean fresh bathroom. Evening meals were excellent. Breakfast had plenty on offer. I had salmon with scrambled eggs on soda bread. The eggs appeared to be free range local. The salmon appeared to be local also and was plenty of both. . The pastries on offer, crispy, fresh and delicious. The only downside was noise from below as we appeared to be above the bar or kitchen. But it stopped before 10.30pm and we heard nothing thereafter and had a great sleep.

“Up to now not good was expecting far better”

Food. Waited over 25 mins for scallops and black pudding starter. Scallops were slightly bigger than queen's , we are on sky, so you would expect them to be good as they are supposed to come from here. Came quicker but was cold on the outer edges luke warm under the fish supposedly caper and tarragon sauce.. loads of capers but no tarragon. Would not expect to be disappinted by the the restaurant and quality of produce on Skye.
