“Recommended”
Having just visited the Bistro for coffees the staff member who served us deserves a special mention for his professional and engaging manner. The surroundings provide a perfect environment for a leisurely coffee and chat with family or friends.

“Average hotel”
We stopped at the hotel for one night on our way to Edinburgh. It is an acceptable hotel, but also nothing spectacular. Room was okay. “Dissapointing”
This restaurant had been recommended by our B&B as the best all-around place to eat in Callandar so we chose it on our first night in the area. We found the food very mediocre. Maybe we caught them on an off night.
