“Fabulous stay!”

Amazing stay! Thank you so much to everyone who helped us have a fabulous time for my husbands 50th birthday with our two young kids. We stayed in one of the knock lodges and was so impressed that since our last stay it has been renovated. The balcony has all been renewed and wow what a difference. Though could still be doing with new carpets as it still smells of wet dog! All your staff were so attentive and super friendly. Chloe in the terrace went above and beyond during our time there. It was very much appreciated. We were so happy to see the hanging kebab back on the menu! Though no fillet steaks to be had! We were sad to see the Piccolo restaurant closed as we spent many a family night there. The service at the bar at night in the Winter Gardens was extremely slow. The staff behind the bar don’t seem to notice customers standing waiting to be served. I think that needs much improvement. Loved our time at Action Glen at the play park. Still think it should be much cheaper for those staying at the hotel/lodges. I understand it needs to make money but given the tickets are being sold on Itison shows that your profit margin could be reduce for your paying guests. There was so many visiting families from the local village when we were there who just came up for the day. It was a shame that the Taylor Swift tribute act was £15 per head and that was the only entertainment on for kids that night. Again maybe reduced rate for your paying guests would make people happier. We had a fabulous time and despite some points above we will certainly be returning. We hope some feedback is taken on board and we look forward to seeing you soon!
