In Edinburgh for a concert at the Usher Hall . Chose Moxy Fountainbridge for our overnight stay afterwards. We (husband and I ) chose partly due to location (as we were able to walk to the venue) , also we had heard good reports from friends about the place. Well I have to say our stay was way better than other hotels with a similar business model . It is spotlessly clean , modern with all the things needed for a short stay hotel . Loved it , will definitely be back in the future. Staff were very helpful , well mannered and friendly 10 out of 10 folks . Oh and breakfast was damn good too. Usually after a concert i'm off to my bed . Not this night (Tubular bells was brill )and the choice of music back at the Moxy was good enough to encourage the pair of us to have a few drinks. Thankyou for a great trip folks. 😀😀

“Amazing hotel we loved every day here”

We chose Moxy for my 30th birthday celebrations to stay in Edinburgh. We loved how different the hotels decor was to any other hotel, was really up to date. We chose Moxy for my 30th birthday celebrations to stay in Edinburgh. We loved how different the hotels decor was to any other hotel, was really up to date. The room was lovely, a tad disappointed there wasn’t a wardrobe or many hangers. The bed was super comfy and didn’t lose out on any sleep, the noise levels was 0 on floor 5 which was superb as I asked for a quiet room. The breakfast was included and had a nice array of choice. They decorated the room for my birthday and it was amazing! I’m really grateful to their efforts. Made the stay so special, all the staff were lovely and really accommodating. The rooftop terrace was nice albeit a tad too expensive for us but definitely worth a cocktail, the service was impeccable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and if we ever come back to Edinburgh we would definitely come here and bring the kids. Lovely stay.

A cozy hotel located at the center of Edinburgh where you can visit the iconic Edinburgh castle by walking distance. A cozy hotel located at the center of Edinburgh where you can visit the iconic Edinburgh castle by walking distance. Room was clean however bit small especially the shower area.Bed was comfortable and room was designed differently according on travelers convenience. I have been amazed how they decorated the lobby with a combination of pub,dining and lounge set up. Fitness center was small,staff were friendly and always ready to assist. A good value for the money.

Moxy hotels are known for tiny rooms. This one offers extra tiny rooms. There is no closet or safe. There is no space to work other than a tiny hanging desk and backless stool to sit at. Moxy hotels are known for tiny rooms. This one offers extra tiny rooms. There is no closet or safe. There is no space to work other than a tiny hanging desk and backless stool to sit at. WiFi was subpar but usable. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom usable and has a door. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was decent. It is close to many businesses and not far from restaurants. The hotel will do for 2-3 nights but will get very old quickly.
