Estivemos eu e meu marido hospedados no Glenfinnan House Hotel durante nossa viagem de férias pela Escócia, e foi uma experiência simplesmente encantadora. Estávamos vindo de Edimburgo e, no caminho, passamos pela tão famosa ponte onde foi gravada a cena do trem de Hogwarts. Pouco depois já estávamos chegando ao hotel, cercado por uma paisagem absolutamente deslumbrante. O hotel é lindo, muito aconchegante, extremamente limpo e cheio de estilo. Tudo transmite charme e tranquilidade, perfeito para quem está viajando pela região. No início da noite descemos para a sala de jogos, onde aproveitamos um delicioso Pinot Noir em um ambiente muito agradável. Em seguida seguimos para o restaurante do hotel e tivemos um jantar realmente delicioso. Depois de uma maravilhosa noite de sono, acordamos e fomos recebidos por um café da manhã muito gostoso, com uma vista simplesmente deslumbrante da paisagem ao redor. Foi uma estadia realmente especial. Saímos de lá para continuar nossa viagem com aquela sensação deliciosa de ter vivido um momento único em um lugar maravilhoso. Review in English My husband and I stayed at Glenfinnan House Hotel during our holiday trip through Scotland, and it was truly a charming experience. We were driving from Edinburgh and along the way we passed the famous bridge where the Hogwarts Express scenes were filmed. Shortly after, we arrived at the hotel, surrounded by absolutely stunning scenery. The hotel is beautiful, very cozy, extremely clean, and full of character. Everything about it feels charming and peaceful — perfect for travelers exploring the region. In the early evening we went down to the game room, where we enjoyed a delicious glass of Pinot Noir in a very pleasant atmosphere. Afterwards we headed to the hotel restaurant and had a truly delightful dinner. After a wonderful night’s sleep, we woke up to a lovely breakfast with a simply breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. It was a truly special stay. We continued our journey with that wonderful feeling of having experienced something memorable in such a beautiful place.

“Fabulous birthday weekend”

Recently stayed at the fabulous Glenfinnan House Hotel for my husband’s birthday weekend. We loved everything about this lovely hotel, from the stunning location, to the gorgeous views of the loch from the room, the roaring log fires and all the delicious meals. It was perfect. We regularly visit Scotland, usually staying in self catering accommodation, so this was a real treat for us both, to stay in a hotel. It really was everything we could have wished for and more. The staff were brilliant - Johnny couldn’t have made us more welcome on arrival, plus his fascinating history of the building (and the boots!). Mayur and the rest of the team really couldn’t have done any more for us as the service was excellent and we appreciated everything they did for us. It really was the most amazing weekend and we were sorry to leave so soon. Thank you X

“Real deal … only distraction is Viaduct itself”

Just beautiful- I had not realised only 14 rooms in total - so exclusive. Just lovely hall and bar rooms with fires. We stayed in Feb so low £££ .. it would be x2 in season but you know what it is still worth it. Hotels In Scotland in season are £400 - fact of live. Only downside was not fully re… lisää

We stayed in Feb so low £££ .. it would be x2 in season but you know what it is still worth it. Hotels In Scotland in season are £400 - fact of live. Only downside was not fully remote … the parking to viaduct v close by, so not isolated as such with tourists and buses, but in winter no issue. In summer I think maybe and would be a concern for me. The mangers on duty were just lovely and professional Very dog friendly
