We have literally just left ! And what a lovely stay we had. The hotel is lovely and clean. Loved the spa. we also done the thermal experience which we enjoyed. Beautiful views over the loch ! It was nice to be able to use the facilities before checking in. The car park was nice and close to the entrance. The room was nice and spacious, beds very comfortable. Nice little touch with the tin of sweet treats. My only 1 negative I have was there was no beans on the breakfast! There for I didn’t eat my breakfast because it was to try ! I just happened to say to the older lady on reception about the lack of beans and I felt she was not receptive of my comment! Stating the owner doesn’t like beans, they look messy on the player! I suggested using a ramekin. And her reply was, well it will never change ! It’s set in stone and that’s it!! We will definitely return but next time I’ll bring my own tin of beans lol

Stayed here with my wife at the weekend there for one night, this was our 2nd time staying here, first time being around 3 years ago. The hotel is set at a lovely location overlooking the loch and hills from the front of the hotel, views of this are fanatstic when in the main bar / resturant area, very relaxing with great service, good drinks options and log fire on which was fantastic considering the weather was crazy with rain, hailstones, wind, you name it! Good old Scotland! Anyway, on arrival the staff were so helpful at reception, hotel was warm and cozy and a nice homely feel to it. We arrived at 1:30pm with room check in at 3pm, we got a txt bang on 3pm to say room was ready but in the meantime relaxed in the main bar area so that was nice. The only mark off this area was that there were some roof leakages due to the weather, there was an ice bucket on the floor to catch drops of water and we could hear drops hitting a leather couch behind us, maybe something the hotel have planned to fix but it didn't bother us in the slightest. Room was very small but very nice, lovely soft bed, TV and nice bathroom with walk in shower. The only reason I have gave a mark off is our view from the window practually looked out onto the faulty bar roof which wasn't pretty with stuff on lying about on it so it obv wasn't nice to look out onto that but not the end of the world, just our luck the room we got. The toilet roll holder was broken and there was no bottles of water which would have been a nice touch or even a jug on arrival, instead you need to walk downstairs to fill up a glass to take back, obv that's just small issue that older guests might find an issue at but that didn't effect our stay, we still loved it. We had a spa session booked in which was a 30 min massage, this was fanatstic, very chilled and the massage was amazing! Wish it was an hour, flew in! Had a peek at the pool and stuff and looked nice! There is an outdoor spa experience but this is £29 extra per person, the weather was wild tho as mentioned before. The meal at night was just incredible, great menu and the dishes were very high standard made, lovely wine and just a great chilled out experience! The breakfast was excellent too with a bullet type option for cereals, granola, fruit, juices and then a menu to order hot food, all staff brilliant! I hope the person reading this does not think the small negative points in anyway would stop us staying again, it would not, we had a wonderful stay and would fully recommend it!

Very enjoyable visit to Loch Fyne. Every member of staff was helpful, friendly and gave great service. It felt like the whole team got on really well together. Made for a great atmosphere. Views of the loch from the bar and spa were beautiful. (Despite the variable Scottish weather of sun, hail and thunderstorms!) Food was delicious. Easy walk into Inveraray for lovely lunch choices and a castle visit. The private thermal spa was definitely worth paying for. Or feedback was it was expensive compared to similar hotels. The bedrooms were basic, without a view, for £295 b+b per night off season (March). And the food was expensive, although delicious, although we appreciate there is a higher cost to transport food and employ great staff in a more remote area. Some of the public areas were tired looking. And the bedrooms were very hot overnight.
