“Excellent Stay Highly Recommend”

We had a lovely stay for 2 nights Although parts of it are getting tired - All in all for age of Hotel it is very good. Everything Clean. Restaurant Food was excellent 2nd night we went to the Hotel Bistro which was also excellent . Breakfast very good. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend here for a stay in the middle of Pitlochry main street.

“Enjoyed lobby bar”

Unfortunately, while touring, we only had less than an hour in this quaint town and bus crowd went left and we went right. Unfortunately, while touring, we only had less than an hour in this quaint town and bus crowd went left and we went right. As we walked and looked in all of the various business windows we ducked into the hotel lobby for a libation and coffee. The decor was welcoming, with the reception desk and bar immediately inside. The bartender was cheerful and straightaway made our drinks. We sat in a comfy couch, chatted, refreshed and people watched until it was time to meet our group. Enjoy!

“Great location, some strange quirks.”

Fisher's Hotel is in a great central location in Pitlochry, walkable to the whole town and the river. Upon arrival, the staff was kind and helpful and got us into our room with an early check-in since we arrived before check in time. Parking is adjacent to the hotel, very convenient. Fisher's Hotel is in a great central location in Pitlochry, walkable to the whole town and the river. Upon arrival, the staff was kind and helpful and got us into our room with an early check-in since we arrived before check in time. Parking is adjacent to the hotel, very convenient. We booked a 'Superior Room'. Our room location was super confusion to find at first, but once we figured out where it was it was fine. Note- there are a lot of small flights of stairs, so be prepared if you have large luggage. The hallways are dated, and very reminiscent of "The Shining". Upon coming into our room, the front room was fine, with a sofa, desk, TV and bathroom. There was a small hallway leading to the main room/bedroom with a open closet running along the right side, lots of storage space! We were confused by the bedroom/main room. From the pictures on the website, the Superior Room bedroom appears fully furnished, with a sofa, chairs, desk and TV. Our room looked as though it was halfway through redecorating. Only 2 chairs, the wall hung TV, a small coffee table and a small credenza with a coffee machine and kettle were in the room with the bed. The room is large so it seemed extremely empty, and had a significant echo because of how empty it was. You could actually see where furniture used to be based on where the outlets were installed. The morning breakfast was good, and very busy. We did try the on site restaurant and the food and drink were good, staff very friendly. Also enjoyed the local crowd there that seemed to be having a great time.
