This is our last night having spent the week, it's a fabulous place, we booked Dinner, bed and breakfast, there is a buffet at breakfast time with plenty of choice, and dinners were excellent especially the curries, we haven't had one bad meal, and all in a restaurant overlooking the Loch with a lo… lisää

This is our last night having spent the week, it's a fabulous place, we booked Dinner, bed and breakfast, there is a buffet at breakfast time with plenty of choice, and dinners were excellent especially the curries, we haven't had one bad meal, and all in a restaurant overlooking the Loch with a lovely outdoor terrace, there is complimentary afternoon tea too which unfortunately never tried because we were out and about and by the time we were back we didn't want to spoil our evening meal, we booked a basic room but it's very spacious with a turn down service in a evening, where you are left 2 bottles of water and two Tunnocks chocolate biscuits, also with a great shower and lovely toiletries, we didn't really use all the facilities like the spa and gym so can't comment on those, The whole place is cosy and welcoming and the staff are fantastic, can't do enough for you and always greet you with a smile. Would definitely stay again if up this way. Lots to see in the area too. Sad to be leaving

“Spectacular views, spectacular hotel”

We had a wonderful weekend at Whispering Pine with our dog. The hotel is beautiful, as are the grounds and spectacular scenery. “Great staff and location”

We stayed in Room 1. Staff were extremely helpful, 10/10. I used the fitness room, which was a good feature - if you could get an additional treadmill in there it would be ideal, as there was a queue for it. We stayed in Room 1. Staff were extremely helpful, 10/10. I used the fitness room, which was a good feature - if you could get an additional treadmill in there it would be ideal, as there was a queue for it. Neither the hot tub nor the sauna were available to use (turned off evening/morning and need to be booked during the day) so I’m deducting a point as these facilities couldn’t be used. Room was small but comfortable and as advertised. We ate in the restaurant. Evening meal was 7/10 in terms of flavour and value for money (Caesar salad/beefburger), other diners dishes looked better so think we could’ve made a better choice. Breakfast was buffet with many choices. We generally prefer healthier options (wholemeal bread, oats, seeds) and unfortunately these weren’t available, however, we were able to order an omelette. Would return. High praise for the helpful staff.

The hotel was clean the staff were very friendly. The room we had was a classic double it was small but had a beautiful view.
